Summary:
The primary responsibility of our Business Development Consultant-Casino-East is to act as an Outside Sales Professional to grow the sales revenue of new and existing clients of PLI’s casino-based business. This is a sales position that is aggressively compensated for new business. This includes, but is not limited to, player and rewards cards, generic and chain logo hotel products and custom hotel key cards (non-event or co-branding). Product will be sold through direct sales, customer visits, phone calls, written and e-mail communications, and direct advertising (sample packs). The sales professional will utilize the vast database of leads and opportunities to maximize the earning potential of the position.

- Utilize the database of inactive and non-participating independent and corporate casino locations to establish a consistent and active plan to increase sales.
- Actively work with customer service to transition corporate standardized business back and forth between “Hunter and Farmer” status.
- Provide quotations to any new or current accounts for all custom products, which may include keycards (non-event or co-branding) and additional product offerings such as door hangers, easels, tents and other products offered by PLI.
- Contact all current casino accounts to maintain custom product usage, explore additional product offerings, and build the customer/vendor relationship with these customers.
- Assist the customer service representative assigned to the same accounts when necessary to achieve complete customer satisfaction.
- Meet or exceed all measured sales metrics and goals as established by joint collaboration with or by management.
- Become proficient in product and customer knowledge of assigned casino chains. This includes knowledge of products, customer base, and key contacts within the casino chain.

Qualifications:
- Minimum five years sales experience or in a role of equivalent experience in a related field.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be independently motivated, organized, and be able to balance multiple tasks.
- Proficient in the use of personal computers and software including Microsoft Outlook and office applications.
- Working knowledge of CRM required.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must be able to travel on a limited basis.
